Influence Graphics Provides Support for Global Poverty Project Posted: August 01st, 2014 in Influence Graphics offers digital printing for many non profit organizations that are based in the New York City area. One of the groups we work with is the Global Poverty Project (GPP). The Global Poverty Project is an international education and advocacy organization whose mission is to increase the number and effectiveness of people taking action against extreme poverty by 2030. This past April Global Poverty Project sponsored Live Below the Line which is a challenge to spend $1.50 a day, the equivalent of the extreme poverty line, on food and drink for five days. Live Below the Line raises awareness of the 1.2 billion people who live below the extreme poverty line and allows participants and their networks to contribute directly to the critical programs of organizations such as the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and World Food Program USA. In 2013, the Live Below the Line campaign around the world raised over $4.4 million and garnered over 1.4 billion media impressions. Influence Graphics was happy to provide large format printing including step and repeat banners for the kick off celebration for this event.
